How to place a sports bet on MSport Nigeria
Open the MSport website or app and log in. Go to the Sports section and select a league or competition from the left menu. Tap a match to open the full market list. Tap any odds value to add that selection to your bet slip on the right side of the screen. You can add multiple selections to build an accumulator. Set your stake in the amount field at the bottom of the slip. The slip shows your potential return before you confirm.
Tap Place Bet. If your account balance covers the stake, the bet confirms immediately and a reference number appears. For live bets, odds can shift between tap and confirmation, so MSport may ask you to accept updated odds before the bet processes. Cashout becomes available on qualifying live bets once the match is underway. You find active bets under My Bets in the navigation, where the cashout button appears next to each eligible selection if the market conditions allow it.

Live betting opens on most football matches at kickoff and stays available until around the 85th minute depending on the market. Odds refresh every few seconds during play. A goal or red card can shift a 1X2 price by 30 to 50% in under a minute, so live bettors in Lagos watching a match and monitoring the app at the same time will see those swings happen fast. In-play BTTS and over/under markets are often more stable than 1X2 during live play, which makes them a different type of live bet compared to backing a live match winner directly.
The cashout figure shown on your bet slip represents what MSport will pay you at that moment if you settle early. It is lower than your full potential return when your selection is winning but not yet confirmed. Cashout is not available after a market has been suspended or after a match ends, and it does not apply to virtual sports bets. A bettor in Enugu who placed a pre-match accumulator and wants to take profit after three of five legs land can use partial cashout if that option is active on their bet slip, keeping a portion of the stake running for the remaining legs.
